Your unit and room are specifically designed to fit your needs while studying, so that you can make the most of your time as a student.Cairns Student Lodge’s dining hall is where your breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served. The dining hall has communal tables so that you can share a meal with your new Cairns Student Lodge friends. You can also choose to pack your lunch at breakfast and take your food with you, so you don’t have to return during the day. Cairns Student Lodge offers cuisine such as Australian western-style (using local produce for meat, seafood, fruit and vegetables), Asian (Chinese, Thai and Indian), European, Mediterranean, Mexican, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, nut free and Halal. Our chefs from the commerical kitchen in the Dining Hall welcome meal requests. Do feel free to suggest your favourite meal and copies of family secret recipes are always welcome.Resident Leaders of Cairns Student Lodge are a group of 10 student residents who have been appointed to the care and safety of all residents by providing after hours pastoral care. Their experience, leadership, and commitment will assist residents after hours. The primary role of Resident Leaders is to offer pastoral care, support and mentoring to residents. In addition, they conduct nightly rounds and monitor adherence to the Code of Conduct, so that all residents can enjoy safe and secure living at Cairns Student Lodge. The Resident Leaders are available for the benefit of all residents and are happy to discuss any problems and answer any questions you might have.Student Accommodation including Meals Second to none! You will also find a dining area, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The small outdoor garden area offers views of Marina. Anglers Two is at the back of church, looking toward Wilson's Promontory. This two bedroom unit offers a spacious queen bedroom and a second bedroom containing a double bunk bed. The large lounge includes a television and sound system. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen and large wheelchair accessible bathroom. The dining area opens onto an outdoor deck. Fisherman's Cottage is a separate building, elevated with lovely views. Underneath there is plenty of room to park your car and boat. The large deck overlooks Wilson's Promontory and Corner Inlet. Inside you will find a queen bedroom and loft above which contains two trundle beds. Guests will need to bring their own linen.
