Our passion for adventurous water sports led us to this amazing part of the world and It's here that we chose to put down roots, raise a family & share our love of nature & sea kayaking with our visitors. Ayers House is a prime example of colonial architecture and contains many important decorative features. Of major interest are the ornate painted finishes and examples of trompe l\'oeil on the walls and ceilings of all rooms, the large reception rooms designed for entertaining and the external symmetry of the house with its two matching bow windows. Today, Ayers House Museum is managed by the National Trust of South Australia. It houses a large collection of antique furniture, silver, paintings and costume, mostly dating from the nineteenth century, and corresponding to the period of Henry Ayers\' occupancy of the house. Today, the Village is a philanthropic project by and Australian couple, Connie and Craig Kimberley, whose passion has restored it to the rightful place in heritage history. The triple award winning Historical Village is a self funded, all volunteer operation. Expect to take at least two hours to fully experience the site. Interactive demonstrations of Blacksmithing, Woodturning, Corn Shelling and Rope making on Sundays from 1pm ‘til 3pm. Make your own souvenir rope or pedal the lathe and make your own wooden souvenir. The Museum can be opened any time for groups and schools and there is an urn, cups, table and chairs for groups available at no extra cost. A new BBQ area is available to visitors/Groups at no extra cost including a hot water dispenser. See Australia’s highest court of appeal in a striking building by Lake Burley Griffin that features a seven storey high public hall. The High Court features three courtrooms and an impressive public hall adorned by murals depicting the development of the Australian nation and its Constitution. Interpreting and upholding the Constitution is one of the important functions of the High Court, together with interpreting federal law and hearing cases appealed from other courts. High Court sittings are open to the public. The building was opened in 1980 and was the result of a national architectural competition. More

The Sydney Jewish Museum is dedicated to documenting and teaching the history of the Holocaust so that these events will never be repeated. This world-class museum challenges visitors' perceptions of democracy, morality, social justice and human rights and places the Holocaust in its historical and contemporary context. The Governor of NSW, Rear Admiral Peter Sinclair AC, officially opened the Sydney Jewish Museum on 18 November 1992. Since its opening it has quickly become an integral part of the cultural life of Sydney, winning the 1994 Award of Distinction in the NSW Tourism Awards for Excellence, and a Commendation in the 1995 Human Rights Awards. Housed in the historic Maccabean Hall, the Sydney Jewish Museum presents visitors with an overview of the best and worst of humanity. The Maccabean Hall, built to commemorate NSW Jewish men and women who served in WW1 and to honour the memory of those who lost their lives, was formally opened on Armistice Day in 1923 by the universally beloved Sir John Monash.
